Honeybee is a gorgeous Golden mix girl who found herself in a terrible high kill shelter in South TX. Thankfully we were able to beg for a foster for her and she has since settled into her foster home.

We do not know a whole lot about her history but what we have learned so far is Honeybee needs a home with NO CATS. She is fostered in a home with other dogs but she does not do well with other female dogs with a strong personality. Honeybee adores her foster mom and follows her around so we think she would do best with in a home as an only dog so she could truly relax and be the best girl she can be. Older children would probably be best.

Honeybee has some very endearing qualities and she thinks it’s perfectly fine to want to be the center of attention! She hopes you do too!

Submit Application

The first step in our process is to complete an adoption application. This lets us know more about you, your family and your other pets.

2.
Approve Application

After receiving your application we will complete our pre-adoption verification and vet check

3.
Meet the Pet

After completing our vet check and approving your application, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Adoption Prerequisites:
All animals in your home over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered
All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations
All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of providing the medication year round
All adoptions to residents of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex only
Vet check is required for all adoptions

Our Adoption Process:

Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, the first step is to complete an online application by going to roadtrip4paws.com and clicking on the Adopt tab to find a link to our application.

Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and/or past pets are/were spayed/neutered, to date on vaccinations and up to date on heart worm preventative year round.

Step 3: After completing our pre-adoption process and vet check, we will contact you.
