My name is Emerald! I am a retired puppy mill survivor. I am between 6-8 years old Shih Tzu and Poodle mix which is called a Shih Poo. I weight 11 pounds. I am friendly with dogs and cats! A dog sibling would be so awesome to help show me the ropes on how to be a dog.
I am still working on my potty training. Crate trained is unknown as I spent my entire life in a crate, so my foster mommy either lets me free roam of the kitchen or in an excerise pen when my foster mommy has to go out to run errands. I am still working on leash training as I was never walked on a leash in my entire life so I am still learning how to.
A home with fenced in yard is required as I am a huge flight risk since I am still learning new things that I have never seen before and would get scared easily. I am also looking for a family that would be patience with me through my retirement journey.
I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on my vaccinations, and comes with CVI Health Certificate.
