Hello my name is Elle! I am super playful and have so much fun with my foster sister, Jinxie. She's my best friend so we need to be adopted together. I don't care to be picked up but I will follow you around wherever you go especially if you have a toy. I love sitting on my foster moms desk while she works from home. I would love to sleep in bed with you and cuddle all night long. Sometimes I find sneaky places to sleep but if you shake my toys I will promptly run out for playtime. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
