Rocky is a sweet, playful pup who loves fetch and cuddles. He had a rough start in life due to his birth defect that left his hind legs paralyzed. Despite his difficulties, he definitely knows how to enjoy life to the fullest! He doesn’t know he is any different than his foster brothers and makes friends with everyone he meets. He loves kids, cats and dogs and never meets a stranger. His hobbies include running outside in his wheelchair and playing inside in his scooter. His care usually consists of snapping him into his mobility devices and letting him go. He wears belly bands inside since his bladder control is slightly limited due to the paralysis. Luckily, aside from this he is house trained and tells you when he needs to go potty. His temperament is very calm for a puppy, though he will experience the zoomies on occasion and burn some rubber in the yard! He is a very happy pup and can’t wait to go to his new home! Interview

A volunteer with contact you via either email, text or phone within 48 hours of application. We are 100% volunteer. Please be patient.

3.
Home Check

A video or in person home visit maybe required for all adoptions.

4.
Meet the Pet

Meet the pet in an outdoor location. We do not have a shelter.

Additional adoption info

Upon approval of application at epicanaimalrescue.org, adoption costs are $250 for dogs up to one year, $200 one year to five years, and $150 for seniors. Approved application and adoption contract are required. Home visit is required.

Mission Statement

Epic Animal Rescue is dedicated to saving the homeless and abandoned animals of Texas. We will provide a safe haven for these animals while providing food, shelter and all veterinary needs while in our care while we search for their forever adoptive homes. Our team is dedicated to the welfare of all animals and will provide educational support to the general public regarding the need for neuter, adequate vaccination and lifelong vet care of companion animals.
