Hello,
My name is Titan, I am a 1 year old yorkie poo. I am bit shy and timid at first but I will come around. I love to follow my person everywhere once I choose you.
I am good with small-sized dogs, I look up to them and I will wiggle my way to be the closest to you. Snuggles are my favourite and so are belly rubs.
I wake up around 630 ish. I would like to eat when I first wake up after a potty break but I get breakfast around 730-8am and dinner 5-530pm. I enjoy eating and tend to eat fast. My foster is training me to eat slowly by teaching me commands like sit and wait while she feeds my kibbles to me slowly. I am learning nose work and puzzles to eat my kibbles too.
I love chew bones and small treats. Playing with toys in the yard and following whatever the older dog is doing is my favourite past time.
I am pretty much housetrained. I can hold it through the night. I know the word potty and will need to go first thing when I wake up and need to be let out every 1.5-2hours in the evenings as I guzzle water after playing.
I will walk twice a day around noon and again around 7pm.
I walk great on leash, I dont pull. I also enjoy being carried in a doggy carrier when I’m not up for walking.
I don’t like to stay in the kennel during the night, I will cry quite loudly and and will bark. I much prefer to sleep at your feet in bed and get snuggled in the morning. Before bed I don’t mind being combed and I am learning getting my teeth brushed with a finger isn’t so bad.
I will go in my kennel during the day for a few hours when left I am left alone. I need some work on staying quiet at first but I am usually tired and will nap.
Overall I am great puppy who loves to learn and I will love you back with plenty of kisses and snuggles.
About House Training:
We never claim completely house trained on our rescues as some adopters have returned a dog or puppy within the first 24 due to a house accident. We would definitely lean more to an understanding of an adjusting dog over claiming house trained. The first few weeks of adjusting we tell adopters to be prepared for an accident or two while schedules align.
