My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chula is a sweet and feisty little love bug! Don't let her age fool you! She is very spry! She enjoys walks each day~ Walks at a good clip! She enjoys relaxing on her bed and will let you know if she's in the mood to snuggle by you on the couch! And sleeping in your bed on occasion!
Chula knows some basic commands- Sit & shake! High Five! Easy going and very pleasant in the home with impeccable house manners. House trained she goes to the door to cue you to let her out for potty.
She may have some slight hearing loss, but when it comes to the rustle of the treat bag there's no issue! Her vision is good!
Loves her humans- She would be best suited in a home where someone works from home or an active retired person that would like a pleasant walking companion. She is lovely & loyal, that said she wants to be your one and only pet in your home! Chula is not fond of other dogs. We are unsure of cats - but has not been interested when she's seen cats or rabbits on her walks- Possibly could live with one dog savvy cat.
Her sweet demeanor makes her easy to fall in love with!
Are you the family for Miss Chula? Senior dogs offer so much as companions - they are very special dogs! For further info please contact us! We thank you for your interest!

More about this rescue

MISSION STATEMENT. The CL Boston Terrier Rescue Foundation takes in and raises funds through Auctions & Fundraisers to save the lives of Boston Terriers and Boston
mixes, that we consider "High Risk" the unwanted by owners & breeders, the sick that need extensive medical care, the abandoned, the abused, ones that no-one wants to spend the time working on behavior modification and the list goes on.....
We seek these dogs out by searching 'for sale' websites, facebook groups and other social media on the internet to rescue dogs at risk.
Working with rescues around the country we provide an opportunity for these dogs to have medical care and be placed in loving homes. We also believe in educating people on the Boston Terrier breed and to be advocates for the humane treatment of animals.
Our mission is to raise funds to get Boston Terriers and Boston mixes from shelters, etc. to our care, as well as approved and safe rescue alliances. This occasionally stretches to other breeds-NO DOG will be left behind if in an abusive or bad situation, or Bonded pair. We require that our Rescue Alliances adhere to this format while taking in dogs and their adoption process-We and our alliances require an extensive application, a home visit, a Veterinarian reference- Take in the dogs regardless of age, health, behavior-Fully Vet the Dogs and evaluate behavior and needs prior to putting them up for adoption, so as to match them with the Best possible Forever Home. It is a longer process at times however it best ensures they land in a Forever Home with a family that can meet their needs-We appreciate all the support of our efforts- It takes a village to help these precious souls in need!
