About CL Boston Terrier Rescue Foundation

MISSION STATEMENT. The CL Boston Terrier Rescue Foundation takes in and raises funds through Auctions & Fundraisers to save the lives of Boston Terriers and Boston
mixes, that we consider "High Risk" the unwanted by owners & breeders, the sick that need extensive medical care, the abandoned, the abused, ones that no-one wants to spend the time working on behavior modification and the list goes on.....
We seek these dogs out by searching 'for sale' websites, facebook groups and other social media on the internet to rescue dogs at risk.
Working with rescues around the country we provide an opportunity for these dogs to have medical care and be placed in loving homes. We also believe in educating people on the Boston Terrier breed and to be advocates for the humane treatment of animals.
Our mission is to raise funds to get Boston Terriers and Boston mixes from shelters, etc. to our care, as well as approved and safe rescue alliances. This occasionally stretches to other breeds-NO DOG will be left behind if in an abusive or bad situation, or Bonded pair. We require that our Rescue Alliances adhere to this format while taking in dogs and their adoption process-We and our alliances require an extensive application, a home visit, a Veterinarian reference- Take in the dogs regardless of age, health, behavior-Fully Vet the Dogs and evaluate behavior and needs prior to putting them up for adoption, so as to match them with the Best possible Forever Home. It is a longer process at times however it best ensures they land in a Forever Home with a family that can meet their needs-We appreciate all the support of our efforts- It takes a village to help these precious souls in need!

CL Boston Terrier Rescue Foundation's adopted pets

Adopt a Pet is the easiest way for you to search for a new pet in Seattle, WA.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
