Jolene is a pretty, 10-1/2-year-old tortie girl who arrived from our rescue partner in Corinna, Maine. Active and agile, she often can be found perched up on high shelves. Jolene is a bit shy to start, but with some patience, you will see her loving and playful side emerge! For this reason, we recommend the person who adopts her be an experienced cat owner who is patient and who will help her build confidence and acclimate to her new home and family. As she spends more time at the shelter we have seen a more confident and playful kitty who is waiting for her new family! She is not a fan of other cats, so because she shares Room 4 with quite a few roommates she may not reveal her silly, playful side to you right away. Offer her a dangle toy and you may get an idea of her acrobatic ability.
Jolene is not a fan of dogs and will quickly attack them. She must go to a dog free home.
Jolene does have some constipation issues, but we have found that a little miralax in her food once to twice per day, does the trick.
