Meet Ichabod, the resilient jet-black silky Chihuahua mix! 🐾

🌟 Bio:
Ichabod, a neutered male, found his second chance in January 2023 when he was rescued by a caring soul. This pint-sized pup may be small in stature, but he has a heart of gold. With a microchip for his safety, Ichabod is on his journey of rehabilitation, showing us all what it means to overcome challenges.

👦👧 Preferences:
Ichabod has his own unique personality quirks. He's made it clear that he's not a fan of children or larger dogs; he prefers his own space and tranquility. His interactions with other dogs are selective, and he's a bit picky about his playmates. This might be due to some past trauma, which has left him cautious and slow to trust. But with time and patience, he's learning to let his guard down.

🌟 A Work in Progress:
Ichabod may be easily overwhelmed and excitable, but he's making remarkable progress. With love, understanding, and gentle guidance, he's on a path to heal and build trust. Though he's not currently available for adoption, his journey is one of hope and resilience.

Our dogs are at our adoption events held twice a month, weather permitting. Please visit website or Facebook for details on dates.

Additional adoption info

Adoption applications are required; we do home checks. We request that if you are interested to adopt, please complete an application and return vis email or bring to adoption event. We hold monthly adoption events since all of our dogs are in foster homes. We don’t have a location or building.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs are in foster care; however, we do have adoption events and post the information on our web page and on Facebook.

Our dogs come to events at Petsmart stores. We are located in front of the store, look for adoption trailer and play yard. This will ensure your opportunities to meet the available dogs.
