Introducing Doc, the resilient black-tri color male Chihuahua mix! Doc is a neutered pup who has overcome adversity. Abandoned and discovered on the streets of Modesto in September 2023, he's 12 pounds of love and determination. While he may be a bit shy around new people, he's making remarkable progress every day. Currently in the care of Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows, Doc is undergoing rehabilitation to become the best version of himself. With vaccinations up to date and microchipped for safety, he's eagerly awaiting the day when he can meet his forever family. Stay tuned for the heartwarming journey of this awesome pup! 🐾❤️

Our dogs are at our adoption events held twice a month, weather permitting. Please visit website or Facebook for details on dates.

Additional adoption info

Adoption applications are required; we do home checks. We request that if you are interested to adopt, please complete an application and return vis email or bring to adoption event. We hold monthly adoption events since all of our dogs are in foster homes. We don’t have a location or building.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs are in foster care; however, we do have adoption events and post the information on our web page and on Facebook.

Our dogs come to events at Petsmart stores. We are located in front of the store, look for adoption trailer and play yard. This will ensure your opportunities to meet the available dogs.
