My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided in the description below.

Zues is 9 years old, 55 lbs, and up to date on his vaccinations. He is housetrained and knows basic commands. He loves to play and run around in the backyard. He walks well on a leash. I think he would be ideal for someone who does not have another dog.

Additional adoption info

Everyone that adopts must first fill out an application and get approved by our adoption team. We allow people to meet our animals to make sure it is the right fit along with letting their animals meet our animals as well as long as that animal meets the vetting criteria.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit and no-kill shelter in Rutherford North Carolina. We pull animals from animal control and take in animals from the community. We make sure everyone is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and put on something for fleas, ticks and heartworm prevention. We then place them up for adoption making sure they go into great homes.
