Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Born December 25th 2022, Banjo is a male heeler mix. Banjo is typical puppy - sweet, active and loves playing with other dogs. He's learned sit, leave it, and go potty and is almost fully potty and crate trained. Banjo will do best in an active home with other dogs to play with. He is a little bit shy at first, but once he feels safe he's all smiles and sweetness! True to his breed and thrives on constant mental and physical stimulation. Dog savvy cats will be fine as he does like to chase-it’s all in fun and he means no harm. A securely fenced yard is a must, and if there are children in the home, over the age of 5. We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.
