My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oreo is a gentle and sweet kitty who will win you over again and again with his little 'innocent' gaze! He is brave and curious and loves to play, especially with his brother Roscoe. Pouncing WWE wrestling style on Roscoe is one of his favorite pastimes. He discovered early on that he can do back flips into his cat bed and he finds this very entertaining (scroll down to his videos below). He has adapted this skill into his play tactics. Oreo has mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), and will lose his balance from time to time, but this doesn’t slow him down one bit nor does it affect his health or ability to eat and use his litter box. When he runs, his back legs will hop like a bunny rabbit rather than a kitten which is quite cute.

Oreo is incredibly affectionate and interactive with people. He would love to be adopted with his brother and nap partner, Roscoe, as they have become quite bonded over the months although this is not a deal breaker as he will also do well with another young playful cat. We estimate that Oreo was born in late May 2023. Kitty Bio #1506KL-Or.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps:

  1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat.

  2. Complete our adoption questionnaire.

  3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent or in person to see if the cat is a good fit for your household.

  4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist.

  5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption.
