My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scout is a sweet buff tabby kitty with a beautiful marble patterned coat. He is a quiet, gentle soul who gets along well with other cats. He is very playful and loves interactive toys, growling and trying to kill them when he catches them. Scout will stand on his hind legs for treats like a meerkat. He can be on the shy side with strangers, but he loves his people and will always be in the same room as them just lounging around. He loves back scratches and even likes his belly petted after he trusts you, all while making lots of biscuits.

Scout is healthy but FIV+ which is a condition that weakens his immune system. Cats with FIV typically live relatively normal, full lifespan lives with regular vet checks and care. Scout would do well in a quiet home with another kitty and adults only. He may be OK with a calm dog. He was born in March of 2023. Bio # 581LRo-Sc

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps:

  1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat.

  2. Complete our adoption questionnaire.

  3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent or in person to see if the cat is a good fit for your household.

  4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist.

  5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption.
