Hey there, I go by Tigger, a spirited Catahoula mix all set for adventures! I found myself at the shelter alongside my awesome brothers, Pooh Bear and Piglet. At first, I was a bit reserved, but the incredible staff here have been like my guiding lights, helping me blossom.

I'm totally acing basic commands like "sit" and "stay," and let's not forget how treats turn learning into a party! Outdoors is my ultimate playground – I transform into a joyful tornado, zooming around the yard and soaking up the sun.

Being a social butterfly is my thing. Making furry friends? Piece of cake. I've got the knack for turning strangers into play buddies. Looking for a charming companion? You've found me!

Additional adoption info

Due to the current situation we are no longer allowing casual visits to the shelter. You will need to submit an application with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting via email. Please visit our website www.petsaversshreveport.org to download an adoption application. Applications can be emailed back to us at petsavers@petsaversshreveport.org

Adoption fees for dogs range from $100-$250. All pets come fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (for dogs).

We are located at 4380 Noyes Drive, Shreveport, LA
The shelter is open seven days a week from 12pm to 4pm
Casual visits are no longer allowed. You will need to submit an application via email with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting.

Monthly Events:
Petsmart Adoption Days have been suspended until further notice.
Adoption Day at Petsmart on 7061 Youree Dr., Shreveport
Every 3rd & 4th Saturday of the month from 11am to 3pm

Pet Savers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2005 and located in Northwest Louisiana. Our mission is to rescue, protect, and place abandoned or unwanted pets and provide funds for neutering, spaying, and other veterinary care.

Our precious rescues are cared for 7 days a week, 365 days a year by a special group of dedicated staff and volunteers.
