Their adoption process
A number of our dogs/puppies may not be listed for adoption as they may be going through their vaccination/assessment period. We encourage people to give as much information about what they're looking for in a new pet as possible. Chances are, we may have what you're looking for.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- An application must be submitted prior to meeting our dogs. After your app has been approved, we will set an appointment to meet
- Interview
- Phone/In Person interview conducted.
- Meet the Pet
- An appointment to meet the dog(s) is set. A home visit is required. If all goes well at the meeting then the adoption will be finalized.
Go meet their pets
Our facility isn't set up for "open" visitations; in keeping the safety of both our dogs and potential adopters safe, we require that an appointment be made prior to allowing visitors inside our building.

SoCo Rescue" is a registered 501(c)3 organization with a valid GA Dept of Agriculture Rescue license.
Our mission is to provide a safe haven for those animals that we take in and work diligently to place them into the right home.
While we house only dogs at our facility, we do work with other groups that have cats available for adoption. We try to help any animal in need, regardless of it's species
