Brigid came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control, where she was a volunteer favorite. Once you meet her, you’ll understand why!
Brig is a chill girl, but gets some very entertaining, epic zoomies from time to time. That’s just her way of telling you how happy she is to be around you. Brigid is very sweet and easy to manage. She’s a “dream” on leash and loves to play fetch, but doesn’t need a ton of play or stimulation to be satisfied. She’ll even bring the ball back to you, and drop it, but once she gets tired of the chase,, she’ll happily chew on it and entertain herself.
She’s smart, food motivated and highly trainable. She’d probably do anything for treats, so you’ll definitely have her attention if you pay her properly. She’s beautiful, with the best ears and smile. And a great medium size.
Brigid could potentially integrate with a savvy, chill male dog in an experienced home that is willing to do it right - but ideally, we are looking for a home with her where she can be an only pet. We see her being a very nice family dog.
Brigid is currently being fostered in Chicago, IL. No out of state applicants, please.
