If you are a hound lover, you HAVE to come meet this stunning hound lady! Sadie is 5 years young and came to us after being bounced around a bit in her previous situations. She is a very mellow lady and not a talker, like some of the hounds we have met before. Sadie seems to know what a cat is, so we think that she would be ok in a home with feline friends! As we assumed, Sadie is REALLY food motivated and will do just about anything for a snack! She does know SIT and will lay down, too! Learning more should be an easy task for this grub loving gal! All our dog walkers say that she walks just fine on leash, but being a 65lb lady, will need an able bodied owner who can handle her strength when she gets excited and pulls a little! We will be testing Sadie with other dogs here at the shelter, and of course will test with any interested families dog before adoption, to make sure it is a match! Sadie would thrive best in an adult only home, where she can spend her days lying on the couch in a quiet and mellow home! Do you think that you can give Sadie the home that she so longs for and deserves? If so, please consider coming to visit Sadie during our open hours, Wed-Sat 12-4! If you would like to adopt the same day, we do suggest filling out an application on our webpage prior to your visit! We do not always have the ability to do same day adoptions otherwise.
