My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raise your paw to welcome Bear to FCCR! This black and tan cutie is a 3 year old, 11lb Chihuahua. Bear is a shy guy when you first meet but he becomes the class clown once he warms up to you. He is super loving and playful. He has great house manners and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs but we have not seen him around cats or kids. Bear loves car rides too and is ready to join you on your weekly errands. If you are interested in having Bear join your family, please complete an application through our website, www.floridacockerrescue.org. His ADOPTION FEE is $300.

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
