My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What do you get when you cross a beagle with a poodle---you get a CURLY! Everyone say hi to our sweet 3 year old / 16 lb Curly boy. This incredible little guy is as sweet and lovable as his pictures capture. And he is a survivor!!! Curly came to us in deplorable shape after having been attacked by another dog ( or dogs) and his front leg and chest punctured.....but despite the pain that he was in Curly never stopped giving kisses to his attendants at the shelter. After sitting at the shelter for almost 4 days we knew we couldn't let him be euthanized so we ran to his rescue....and we have been blessed ever since as he is sooo special. Even his shelter attendants shed happy tears as we whisked Curly away and immediately took him to our vets for surgery. You could not meet a more loving and well behaved soul. He gets along great with dogs and just loves people once he knows them! His favorite spot is on foster mommy's lap LOL. Curly is now looking for his special and forever home where he will be loved as much as he will love you back...to the moon and back. More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
