My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet TJ a Doberman/Lab mix (our best guess). This boy is such a lover and just loves to be with his person. He is a total lap dog and just loves to snuggle with his human. He has done well with older children but doesn't know how big he is sometimes and would probably knock over smaller children. TJ doesn’t care much for other dogs. He does NOT do well with cats.

His hobbies are chewing on his nylabones, playing fetch with his stuffed animals, going on walks, and of course cuddling!

He is well behaved on leash using a Halti and knows sit, down, come, and shake. He is also housebroken and crate trained!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our foster application process is the same as our adoption process. We want to ensure our dogs are matched with the right family and home situation. You must be 21 years or older to foster or adopt and a home check is required for every application. Our adoption fee is $175. This fee covers part of the cost of pulling the dog from animal control, ensuring the dog is fully vetted with all shots, and spayed or neutered before the adoption is final.

More about this rescue

I Have A Dream Rescue is an organization dedicated to public education of the breed, spay/neuter advocacy and helping death row pit bulls make it OUT of the shelter and INTO responsible families. Pit bulls are the #1 euthanized dog in the US and the #1 abused dog in the US, our goal is to stop the stereotypes and push for responsible ownership and stricter animal abuse laws.
