Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Curly is the sunshine you need in your life. This handsome guy loves people, and just wants love in return. He is looking for a home as an only cat where he can get all of the love and attention that he craves.
Curly came to Cameron Animal Hospital from a home with multiple other cats where he was struggling. As a young cat he was getting bullied by some of the older cats, and he became stressed and defensive around other cats. He needs to eat a special diet, and his former owner was unable to feed him separately. Curly is just over a year old, and is a strong, healthy young boy. He is FeLV/FIV negative; has had his full series of FVRCP (distemper) and rabies vaccines; has been fecal tested and dewormed; neutered; tested for feline bartonella; and microchipped. Curly has had urinary crystals in the past, and so must eat a prescription diet exclusively; he is a food hound, and loves the food.
Curly likes to run and play, and particularly likes chasing small stuffed toys. But his greatest pleasure in life is getting attention and petting from people. He loves being pet, and hugged, and held. And generally likes interaction and direct play with his humans. Curly does not like other cats due to his history. He tolerates calm, older dogs who ignore him. But he would be thrilled to be an only pet. Curly loves children, and would thrive with a small human to play with.
Curly will do best in a home with a family who has lots of attention and love and hugs to give him. Please email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information about Curly.
