Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Meatloaf! He is an 11 year old fat, black cat - although, he identifies himself more as a dog. Weighing in at 17 pounds, this chunky boy has many characteristics of a dog… he’s needy, food driven, an attention hog, etc. He definitely believes that he is the king of the house.
This hunky, chunky is quite fond of food. He requires meal times and cannot free feed (he will eat too much). He is also on a low protein diet and will require canned food for hydration. Be warned, Meatloaf will eat food off your plate if you let him!
Aside from food, Meatloaf loves his people, and all people actually. He is quite outgoing for a cat, he will meet you at the door, and happily greet strangers while demanding he be pet. He also loves dogs, we believe he finds them entertaining to watch. He will look down on them from above, observing their behavior. If he really likes them he will also run around and play.
Meatloaf’s days consist of napping (either on the couch or in your lap), eating, or looking out the window at wildlife. He will try to catch bugs on the window! Meatloaf also loves his occasional trips outside on his harness.
To sum up, the key points about Meatloaf:
🧆 He will need a low protein diet, including canned food
🧆 We would prefer a home without other cats because we are unsure how he is around them, but he loves dogs!
🧆 Meatloaf would be good with kids of any age, but we would prefer him to go a home with calmer dogs, we think a crazy puppy might stress him out.
🧆 If you are looking for a new best friend who will wake you up by licking you in the ear, snuggle in your lap, and befriend everyone he meets, Meatloaf is the cat for you!

Meatloaf is neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. He has also been fecal and heartworm tested. Meatloaf's front paws are also declawed.
