My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Terk! Terk has been in and out of our shelter a few times in the last three years. His latest adventure is a sadder one-- he was found wandering an apartment complex where someone is known for leaving out poison for cats. A good samaritan couldn`t stand to see a sweet old man there by himself and took him in. After scanning for a microchip and realizing he came from us, he was brought here for his second (or third, or fourth...) chance. Multiple attempts to contact an owner were made but unfortunately no one ever showed up for him. After a quick round of medical treatment (just in case!) he is now ready for his forever home! Terk is a super sweet and mellow senior. His favorite activities include napping, eating some tasty wet food, and getting ear scratches. Despite everything he must`ve been through, he still trusts people and knows his family is out there somewhere. He can get a little overwhelmed sometimes and would appreciate having a place to retreat to if life gets too noisy. If you have room in your heart and home to give Terk the perfect home to live out the rest of his days how he deserves, he`s here waiting to meet you!
