My story

Hi everyone, my name is July and I am a gorgeous 3 year old deaf male mini blue merle Australian Shepherd. I found myself at a shelter when my human had to move into assisted living. I am neutered, current on immunizations and on preventatives.

Some folks call me a unicorn because I love dogs and people of all ages and sizes and I am curious about cats but do not bother them. I prefer male dogs over female but I think its because I was fostered with a dog in heat and she was in a mood.

I am a total cuddle bug and love to be with my humans at all times. I am sweet and loveable to everyone that I meet. A real social butterfly. And don’t worry about me being deaf, it does not slow me down one bit! Because I am deaf, I definitely need a fenced in yard.
