Emma is one of 6 puppies that were left in a box along a creek in rural Oklahoma (one puppy was found in the water.) They were taken to the pound but kept outside. Once with Mo-Kan they were placed in foster homes and have thrived beautifully!
Emma is now 4-months old and continues to thrive. She is fully vaccinated and weighs 14 pounds. While we don’t know what she’s mixed with, her looks and behavior are showing a little Cattle Dog. She knows Sit, Down, Kennel, Go Potty, Inside and Outside. She’s working on Shake & High Five tricks. Since she has all of her vaccinations we’ve been taking short walks in the neighborhood. She’s learned that trash trucks are big, loud, and kind of scary but going to the bus stop in the morning to visit the grade school kids is LOTS of fun! Emma will give a bark in her kennel if she needs to go out to potty. She’s very consistent in keeping her kennel clean for 4-4.5 hours during the day. She can go about 6.5 hours over night.
Chewing on her deer antler, wrestling, and playing chase with her littermate are favorite activities. She also likes to play tug, chase, and wrestle with Cooper, one of the adult dogs in her foster house. Emma is smart and quick to learn and will be fun to continue to train!
Emma will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract.
Emma is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
