Additional info:
Loverboy Louie’s (formerly known as Peppa Pig) name says it all, after he warms up to you, he is a real sweet little loverboy. At first, he can be a bit standoffish and even a little barky, but when that subsides, all he wants is love, toys and to cuddle up next to you. He loves squeaky toys and balls. He loves to be with his human but can entertain himself with toys for hours. Louie has done well with his doggy foster sister but would also likely do well with lots of love as an only dog. Louie would do best in an adult household. Louie is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is potty trained but should potty before he goes to bed to avoid accidents.
Even though Louie is mostly a well-behaved little gentleman, he does need some basic training. Louie will sometimes chew on things he shouldn’t in the house however, it’s nothing a little bitter apple, plenty of toys and supervision can’t address. He would also benefit from ongoing socializing with dogs (his size or a little bigger) and people.
Loverboy Louie will gaze into your eyes and melt your heart. A little training, structure and stability will go a long way with Louie. He is a very sweet boy that will thrive in a loving and stable environment.
It should also be noted, Louie takes medication twice a day for epilepsy. His epilepsy is under control and does not appear to have any significance to his life, other than having to take a pill twice a day."
