Okay, for real this time... this is the NICEST cat ever!
Morris Doo is a 4-year-old, 9.5-pound Domestic Shorthair cat here at the Babinski Foundation. He was recently surrendered to us because his previous owners were struggling with their finances and could no longer keep him. Morris Doo is definitely missing the constant company of a friend to cuddle with.
Morris Doo LOVES people and will happily sit by your side or in your lap for snuggles all day long. He likes to press his head into you for pets and rub up against your legs just to remind you how much he adores you. Since he previously lived with a dog, he could certainly enjoy a home with a canine friend! He also loves children and will happily play or snuggle with them.
One of Morris Doo`s eyes is unable to regulate pressure. This sweet boy will require daily eye drops for the rest of his life, which work by decreasing fluid production to control the pressure in his eye.
Morris Doo is also FIV positive. He can still live a happy and normal life, but we highly recommend keeping him up-to-date on his vaccines. We also request that he is either the only cat in the home or placed with other FIV positive cats.
Morris Doo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at the shelter Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.

We strive to ensure a safe, healthy, and loving environment that will provide temporary shelter for abandoned, stray, and surrendered animals and to find each animal a new and prosperous home.
The Babinski Foundation is a private 501c3 animal shelter located in Pequot Lakes, MN. We are a safe place to surrender dogs and cats. We also are a stray drop-off facility for stray cats and dogs.
OUR STORY
The Babinski Foundation was established in 2010 by Donald and Elizabeth Babinski owners and founders of Babinski Properties which owns multifamily housing in Minnesota, Florida and South Dakota. He and his wife Elizabeth were working tirelessly to get the animal shelter opened which was their dream, but Donald Babinski passed away August 11th, 2014 before the shelter could open. Elizabeth continued where they left off and the Foundation opened in January 2016 in Pequot Lakes, MN. Elizabeth passed away on November 13th, 2020. Donald and Elizabeth’s dream was finally realized, and Donald and Elizabeth’s surviving family and friends will continue to work hard to fulfill their mission.
