My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Due to an ongoing medical situation in our family and concurrent need to move out of our home and into temporary housing, we are looking to find a new home for our beloved Kira.

She is such a sweet soul and just wants to be with people, and our current complex situation is making it difficult to give her the quality of life she deserves.

ABOUT KIRA
—11 y.o., medium-sized, 45 lbs
—Thinks she's a lap dog! Wants to cuddle in your arms
—Easygoing - doesn't require a strict schedule for wakeup or meal time
—Happy to sleep all day but still has energy for adventures
—Currently has freedom to go in & out of the house or be let outside to explore the yard, so would do best with fenced-in yard
—Very quiet & doesn't bark at things, does whimper for attention
—Can be reactive/picky with which dogs she gets along with, so should be the only dog in the home
—Great with our young children but for a new home would do best with children ages 8+ who know not to climb on her
—Perfect companion/WFH bud
