My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in meeting Trixie L, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php

TrixieL - I am the only female in a litter of 4 so I have to be a bit sassy to keep my 3 brothers in line. I was named because I play tricks on my brothers. I also do the neatest trick. I sit up on my hind legs and then paw at the air with both paws! Kind of looks like I'm begging (which I am) and it usually means I want pets, food, or treats. And that black spot on my 'cheek'? Yup, that's my beauty mark! I was born approximately 3/18/23.

This litter of 4 might always have a chronic case of URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) which is caused by at least 2 different viruses. This is characterized by 1 or both of the following: runny eyes and sneezing, nasal discharge. Right now they appear cured (no sneezing, no eye or nasal discharge.) They should be onlys or go with a sibling or go to a household that also has a kitty with chronic URI or live with a kitty that has had URI so many times, they are largely immune to it.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php

Our kitties are FeLV tested (negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties.
