Frack is a 1 year old, sweet lemon beagle from the south. He is a friendly, loving boy who is working hard to overcome his wariness of humans. He happily greets his foster parents at he door, bouncing and barking with excitement. He will come to them to take a treat and likes to snuggle on the sofa and bed. While Frack is still hesitant of being approached too quickly, he willingly approaches visitors who allow him to come to them when he is ready.
He LOVES the other dogs and is happiest when he is outside running around and playing. When inside, he loves snuggling with the pack, often pressed up against one of his foster siblings. He enjoys chewing on bones and playing with toys. He is generally quiet except for mealtimes. He gets so excited he bounces and howls! Like any beagle, the way to his heart is surely through food!
Frack will need a patient adopter who will allow him time to get comfortable in his new home and will continue his leash training. A fenced in yard and another dog are a must. A quiet home with children 13 years or older, and someone who is home a lot so that he can continue to gain confidence would be helpful.
Frack is being fostered south of Boston and is available for visits.

Happy Life Beagle Rescue is a foster based rescue. We do not have a physical shelter where you can visit our dogs. All our dogs are in foster homes throughout the New England area or in the south waiting to be transported north.

More about this rescue
Happy Life Beagle Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, is a 100% volunteer run rescue established in 2022. We're a new rescue, however, collectively our Adoption Counselors have been rescuing beagles for decades. All have experience with other rescues, as well as being beagle lovers and owners themselves. Currently, the core volunteers within the rescue have 15 beagles between them.
Our combined experience and knowledge about the breed provides us with a wealth of information to draw from to make the best placements possible, as well as offer support to our adopters.
