My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Max is not with NJPR but has been posted as a courtesy to help them find a new home*** He is with his current owner so please reach out to them if you are interested in adopting. Below is the information the owner has provided.

"Max is Certified Pedigree by the ACA, Black Boxer with White markings who was born on July 29, 2021. He has been neutered and his shots are all up to date at the Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital on Route614 in Holland Township.
Max is in need of a new home due to dominance issues with our male Border Collie Mix but is is fine with our 13 year old female Rat Terrier.
Max is a loveable dog who likes to snuggle and put his head on your lap.
Prior to the dominant issues, Max and the Border Collie played together inside and outside and would sleep on our large ottoman next to our son on the sofa. He is a very smart dog, is housed trained, knows the commands for stop, sit, lay down, and stay. He loves to run in our back yard and then rollover and scratches his back. He is used to being touched all over his body, is 62 lb, loves toys, and likes to throw them in the air and chase them. He is used to adults but has not been near young children or cats. He hates the sounds of UPS and FedEx trucks. He is ok with Prime trucks. He does bark when delivery people walk up the driveway. He is a curious dog who sniffs the air and ground on his walks and seems amazed by the many birds we have in the yard. Max would benefit with a younger, active couple to adopt him and love him. He listens when you walk him. Max is now on trazodone as Bob keeps barking at Max when we bring Max in and out of his crate. They both are in separate crates with blankets over them and Max is not returning the barking to Bob. I would not recommend put him with another male done.
Should you wish to adopt Max we would love to have you meet him. If
adopted we will provide you with his vetting records, crate, and his doggy bed.
