My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fufu and Pepe are ready for adoption! 😸 both rescued from an apartment complex where someone was leaving out chicken mixed with rat poison.

Meet Pepe- black and white boy! 🖤

very affectionate and enjoys good pets. Enjoys a good session of play but will equally enjoy just chilling with you. Loves to rub up against mommas face before going off to either rest or play. Pepe is also very smart and calm, but not shy. He would make a great companion.

Both boys love playing with each other or laying together or apart. They are both about 3 months old and fully vetted- fixed, vaccinated, tested neg for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

We always prefer to speak with potential adopters before requesting that they complete an adoption application.

2.

Submit Application

We review and screen the application and usually follow up with a conversation. Download an application at www.catscradle-richmond.org

3.

Approve Application

If the application is approved, we make arrangements for the contract to be reviewed and signed.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

This takes place at the time of the adoption

Additional adoption info

The adoption process takes around fifteen minutes. There is an initial screening process to determine if the cat and the potential adopter are a good match. Cat’s Cradle will not adopt if, in our volunteer’s judgment, the adoption would be inappropriate. An Adoption Contract must be completed and signed for each adoption.
