Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ozzy!
Hello all you kind people, my name is Ozzy. If you ask me, I'd like to think I'm quite the gentleman for the most part, and as a senior, I should be right? I'm 60 pounds and a big, loyal, happy-go-lucky guy. Since I'm a bit older now, I'm more of a laid-back guy, enjoying the quieter things in life, not a bunch of ruckus. I get along well with dogs who share my thoughts on relaxing more and playing less. Puppies and other dogs who play a bunch just aren't my thing anymore. They actually make me a bit grouchy. A friend who wants to share the dog couch would be just fine with me. I'm pretty curious about cats, so I'm not sure I should live with them. I would also happily live with older kids. Teenagers seem more my speed. I could probably be a new bestie for a kiddo that matches my energy. I'm a good boy and do my business outside and never really need to be in a crate when left alone since I'm not destructive. I'm not the kind of dog you can just let out to go potty unless you have a fenced-in yard. Otherwise, you'll need to walk me since I'm mostly blind and could easily lose my way.
I'm the type of dog who wants to be included and be near my humans as much as possible, looking for a quiet home where I can enjoy my retirement years. You'll always see my tail wagging to show you how happy I am and only show my disapproval with something by giving a grunt or a light grumble. My foster mom says she has never heard me bark once yet. I'm a slower moving guy with age related discomfort in my joints and likely have some arthritis on my back leg, so I take some meds for that. I'm hoping I can find a family of my very own that has a nice bed for me to lay on and will brush me and keep me looking as handsome as ever. I'm ready to love just one family! Are you ready to love me?
