My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Cinnamon! I'm a 5 month old Goldendoodle.

I came to RCHS after having two nearly identical neurological episodes related to acutely low sodium levels; I was also very thin and malnourished. After tests and lots of great care, my vets determined that the episodes were likely related to drinking too much water on a hot day and developing water intoxication - yes, that's a real thing! Since I've been in my foster home, with regular food and free choice water, I haven't had any more of those episodes and have continued to do well.

I listen really well outside and haven't ever tried to run off. I'm OK on a leash and don't pull, but I will bite my leash. I'm good in the car and travel well. I'm great with other dogs and kids! I really want to play with my kitty foster sibs, too, but I want to be friends so much that they think I come on a bit too strong. I just want to be friends with everyone!

I'm mostly house trained and do well if I'm let out frequently, but I do occasionally have an accident in the house. I don't like being left alone in my crate and will bark about it, but I will sleep quietly if my crate is near a bed where one of my humans is sleeping.

Are you ready for a new friend? Maybe I'm the perfect fit for your family!
