Chakri – this adorable tuxedo kitty is ready to go to her forever home! She is ready to snuggle, cuddle, give lots of love, and—of course—play! She is a happy, active kitty that enjoys the company of volunteers and staff. She gets along great with all the other kitties and enjoys lounging out on the screened in area where she can watch everything going on and join in the fun! The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
