My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Forest Hunter – this adorable kitty with the cute bobtail is as happy and fun-loving as she can be! She is a little shy with strangers but warms up quickly. Once she gets to know someone, she enjoys their attention, petting, and does not mind them holding and cuddling her close. She also gets along great with all the other kitties in her house and has a fun time playing with them. Come meet Forest Hunter, spend a little time with her and then see for yourself what a loving, cute kitty she is!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
