We have a baby black panther for adoption! Donnie is a 2 year old neutered male Great Dane/Lab mix. This mellow man is so easy to fall in love with, as he is house trained, crate trained, healthy, and loving towards all other dogs and people including kids! Donnie is grateful for every positive thing that comes his way because he was saved from the high kill Downey Shelter minutes before he was to be euthanized.

Once you fill out the application, Sandy Paws Sanctuary and your family can work together to find the perfect fit for you and your family.

Home Check

Our home checks are performed virtually to ensure the safety of our dogs.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once the adoption process is finalized, you will be able to bring your new furry family member home.

Our rescue is foster based. Occasionally, we will hold adoption events at a local pet store. Please follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Tim Tok to get more information on when and where the adoptions events will be.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to decrease the number of dogs that are discarded at high kill shelters. Once one of our dogs is out of the shelter, we want ensure that they don't ever have to go back. We are fully committed to each and every dogs health and happiness. Which includes finding a forever family where our pup can be themselves and receive unconditional love.
