COCO-2 is a delightful dog that is smart, active, and loves attention. She is about 1 1/2 yrs old and we think she is an Australian Cattle Dog mixed with Boxer...best guess. She has not had a lot of training...manners/behavior. She has been outside most of the time. The few times she has come in she has been calm and inquisitive. I did introduce her to one of my cats and she backed off quickly. She was more afraid of the cat than the cat was of her. This is not a guarantee that she won't pester a cat after she becomes comfortable in the house but she at least doesn't have the "prey" drive to turn the cat into dinner. She has been receiving leash training of which she is doing very well... walking calmly, not pulling. She loves attention... hugs and kisses.
After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying.
Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.
Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
