Bernice is a adult grey and white with a "sweet and sassy" disposition. She is a very smart cat with a very quirky personality. Bernice is a bit of a diva and likes to have everything her way so if you want to be "owned" by your cat, Bernice may be the one for you. She has a deep dislike of other pets (she likes to be the center of attention of course) so she must be inside only in a home where there are no other cats or dogs. Bernice would do best with an experienced cat owner who understands cat-a-tudes and when Bernice wants some "alone time". Small children are not her cup of tea and prefers quiet predictable, evenings with no drama. If you want to share your life with Bernice, please let us know!
PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.
If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.
