!!!!!ADOPT JAX!!!!! Jax patiently waiting OVER 5 MONTHS in a shelter, up for adoption, where he gave every potential adopter his very best wiggle, in hopes he would be recognized, watching puppies, small dogs, fancy dogs, chosen and off to their homes but nobody ever chose Jax. This is so hard to understand, as Jax is so handsome, a perfect med size (45 pds) cutie, super sweet, gentle, calm, with the very best personality, friendly to people, good with dogs, great on a leash, even carries his toys with him (endearing), is fully housebroken (he waits like a gentleman), and is so well-mannered that he does not even need a crate when left alone! Almost forgot to mention, he also loves to give kisses and is so appreciative of attention! Though adopters passed Jax by at the shelter, he did not go unnoticed, the shelter staff, volunteers and even rescue fell in love with him, and all worked very hard together to get him out (freedom ride pics above)! We are soooooo excited to share with you that Jax is in a TLC foster home now where he is doing amazing! His foster family has only the most wonderful things to say about him which we would love to share with you! If you are interested in learning more about Jax please reach out! FROM WHEN WE FIRST POSTED JAX: Jax is currently in a shelter in NYC, not far away, where he is patiently waiting for his adoption day, waiting for a family to choose him, waiting to go home, home to his forever home and we would love to help make that happen (will transport to CT/nearby areas) for him! Jax is a medium size guy at just 45 pounds but has a massive personality! He is highly social and wiggly and loose with everyone he meets. He greets people with a big goofy smile and wiggle butt. He is a lover boy through and through, wanting nothing more than to spend time with his people. He has great leash manners, walking next to us as we take a stroll. He can be fearful at times, but with some yummy treats and love he warms up. He would do best in a home with another dog for him to play with, and a family that can help him learn some of the basics, that will keep him active and engaged! Sadly, Jax’s time is limited as he is in a kill-shelter, though they try their best, they often run out of space and do euthanize daily.
