Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm a Bobtail ! !
Newly rescued Lyra is the absolute sweetest kitty. Dare I say, one of the most perfect cats on the planet! He is remarkably polite and affectionate. He loves snuggling up with you and will nuzzle under your chin. Lyra is an easy going 2 yr old boy who wants to be involved in whatever you are doing. He has gorgeous soft green eyes and a Bobtail. Still very much a kitten, he is outgoing, playful and enjoys life ! He doesn't need an invitation to rub & twine around your legs or spend some time on the sofa next to you making biscuits to show his affection. He loves being pet and will push his head in to your hands for more. If you've never been owned by an orange tabby, you don't know what you've been missing! They have the best purr-sonalities!
His foster mom writes: " He's very chill, loves laying out on the couch, is very food motivated, and very cuddly, but mostly prefers to sit next to someone than on someone. He does love getting into the craddle of my neck, nuzzling there and making biscuits in my hair. He gets the zoomies in the morning but doesnt make a lot of noise throughout the night. " Eager to find a home, Lyra is the purr-fect family cat and will quickly become a cherished family member. We don't yet know how he'd do with other cats/dog. Meet him in Arlington, VA. Posted 8/29/23
