My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sex: Male

Breed: German Shepherd x

Estimated Date of Birth : 07/12/2019

Linus is a good boy! Both dog and people friendly his happy nature is what originally caught our eye. Happy shelter dogs are typically happy dogs once they’re out of the shelter too. They’re happy to have a chance, happy to be with you and happy to be alive. Those same happy dogs do really well in our prison programs. They help the shy dogs come out of their shells and aren’t typically bothered by the noises and activity in a prison environment. So we’ve given happy Linus the chance he needed.

He’s joined the crew in our Victorville woman’s program. He’ll spend the next 3 months learning the basic obedience tasks most adopters want adoptable dogs to know. He may have lingered in the shelter but Pawsitive Change will give him the skills he needs to be noticed. Sometimes that’s all these young energetic dogs need. Just enough training to change their lives for the better.

Once Linus has graduated he’ll be ready for a forever home. He’ll be looking for a fun and active family and would love some canine pals too. He’ll be looking for a family that will enforce the training he’s received and he’d love a home that will keep him forever. If you’ve been looking for a happy boy Linus just might be the one for you.
