Meet Marti! Marti is a 5 year old, neutered, double merle, male, who came to us almost completely feral. He is a slightly pudgy 40 pounds, crate trained, house broke (but still leaks a little urine when sleeping although we haven't tried medication for that yet as it has been improving). As he is double merle he has some vision issues as well.
Marti will need a very special owner that is willing to give him plenty of time to learn to trust. At his foster home Marti gets along with other dogs, is great with cats, and walks off leash in a rural setting. Marti is that lower energy aussie everyone's looking for and would like a quiet home. Marti will need more training in cooperative Care which his foster is working on and is easy to implement.

All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. Aussie Rescue of Minnesota, Inc. (ARM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit adoption and referral organization dedicated to placing homeless Australian Shepherds in loving, permanent homes in Minnesota and surrounding areas.
All members of ARM are volunteers and receive no monetary compensation for their efforts. All of our dogs live in foster homes until a suitable "forever home" can be found.
