My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Minnie has been with us since October 2022. She came in with a baby and was a very good Mom, but the baby didn’t make it. When we pulled her we noticed a lump on her elbow. We had the vet aspirate it and sent it off for testing. It came back as nothing to worry about, most likely a reaction to a bug bite. Fast forward to 6 months later and the lump was still there. She just had it removed in the beginning of August. The biopsy results came in and it was a Mast Cell Tumor. Unfortunately because of where it was they were not able to get clean margins. Her lungs were clear and her lymph glands seem fine as well. For now we will wait and see what her future needs will be.

Minnie loves sleeping with her people. She is potty trained and friendly. She is an easy patient and didn’t bother her elbow scar one bit when she was healing. The vet staff all lover her!

We would love to find a foster for her where she can be a family pet instead of a rescue pup. Fill out an application today if you would like to help Minnie.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is broken down into 4 steps.

Step 1 begins with filling out an application.

Step 2 is a meet and greet with your family members/roommates and existing dogs. (Puppies under 4 months of age will not meet existing dogs)

Step 3 is a home visit. Where we verify the following:
~Where will the dog sleep
~Where will the dog be kept when no one is home
~Where will the dog play

Step 4 is the final step and is when you sign the contract and pay the adoption fee.

Go meet their pets

Our pets stay in homes with their foster families and are located mainly in San Diego County, CA. An application is required to visit our pets.
