Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny a 6 year old, 50 pound girl low key girl. She is a loving affectionate girl who loves her human.
She likes to play with her Angry Bird toy and gets along with other dogs and cats. She is good on leash and enjoys walks. Last month, Penny showed up in a local shelter as a stray. The Rescue was notified so we contacted the original adopter (from 6 years ago) who said they gave her to another family 4 years ago. Unfortunately, they no longer had contact information for Penny's second family. So Penny is back in Rescue looking for her forever home! Penny does not like to share her food, toys or person with other dogs. Because of this behavior, she would do best as the only dog in the home. She is fine playing and interacting with dogs outside the home. Penny loves to lay on the sofa snuggling with her foster dad. She also enjoys laying on the bed but when you tell her to get down, she does so without complaint. She would make a wonderful addition to any family. Penny will be attending our Adoption Event at the Chester Fairgrounds 11 Kirtland Terrace Chester, CT on Friday, Sept 29 3-5pm (Appointments Only); Saturday, Sept 30 from 9 am - 4 pm & Sunday, Oct 1st from 9 am - 3 pm. Fill out an online Application to get the adoption process started. We Approve Adopters to adopt a dog at the event but the decision on who adopts a specific dog is made by the Rescue as we want the dogs to go to a home that is a great fit for them.
