Mitzy is a sweetheart who adores her people above all else. Living with kids and other male dogs, she's showing her affectionate nature, though she prefers a laid-back atmosphere and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She prefers to eat alone. Mitzy's love for belly rubs and her playful wiggle butt indicate she's full of joy and affection. She is also crate trained. Mitzy is a dream dog who is is fostered in Pennsylvania and will be attending our Adoption Event.
Our pets are in CT, GA and PA foster homes. Dogs in PA may be able to come to CT prior to the event to meet adopters. Dogs in GA will arrive right before the event so you must come to the event to meet them. Fill out an online application to start the adoption process.

Approve Application
We will contact you via email to let you know the status of your application. Check your Spam folder if you don't hear back.

Interview
A phone or virtual interview will be scheduled to discuss your application and answer questions. Interviews are also done at our Events.
4.
Meet the Pet
Adoption Event is May 17-19th at the Durham Fairgrounds. Our pets are currently in CT, GA and PA foster homes.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated to age and micro-chipped. Adoption Fee is paid to the Rescue (typically $350-600.)

We adopt dogs to residents of Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine. We can't adopt to Massachusetts residents because of their laws concerning rescue animals. All adoptions occur in Connecticut.
