My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is a senior boxer we rescued after she was found abandoned in the dark basement of a house with empty bags of food.

She had a large mammary mass that we had surgically removed, and has some other various small growths our team will leave alone due to age, and undetermined time she’s had them.

Annie is looking for a family that loves and adore senior dogs, knows they don’t live forever, but are an absolute gift for all the time they have left with us. They would want to spoil her rotten and provide her with unlimited stuffies. She is estimated to be 8 years old, and loves all humans, big and small

Annie can get along fine with other dogs but is a pretty resource guarder, and is quite happy to have a dramatic scuffle over her snoopy or octopus stuffy. She would be super happy as the only dog, so she doesn’t have to share her things. Though old dogs can learn new tricks, it’s a little less likely to overcome her feisty side over prized possessions as a bit of sassy snark comes with being senior sometimes too.

She is housebroken and goes potty outside. If needed, she can be crated and is crate-trained, but she’s as well behaved as any age boxer when left alone. Nothing more than pesky mischief.

She would like a yard, and a family that enjoys hanging out together.
