My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purebred rottweiler puppies. Owner of the parents had an accident pregnancy and she works 17 hour days. She asked that we take her pregnant rottweiler and whelp the litter and when mama is all done taking care of them she will get spayed and then go back to the owner. On august 16 from 1am until 9am she delivered 12 beautiful babies. Unfortunately, one did not make it. She has 5 girls and 6 boys. Moms name is Mars so we named her babies after things in solar system, universe, space. Mom has an amazing temperament. She is very friendly and loving to every one she meets. She is confident and smart and doing the very best she can to be a great mommy. We have not met their dad, but he is a rottweiler also and the owner said that he is as wonderful as she is.

the litter will stay together for the first 8 weeks of their life. We are taking applications for them now, and right before they are ready to go to their new homes, we will review the applications received for them and decide which applicants would be the best fit for them. We take a lot of things into consideration including the applicants ability to give them a good home with a yard, time they have to spend with the puppy, how much experience they have with the breed, how much training experience they have, their ability to afford to give the puppy quality wholesome food and future medical care, how stab,e the applicant seems in their life. It is very important that you answer all of the questions on our application in full. There is a section where we give different sceneries of behavior problems that your dog might have and we ask you to tell us how you would go about fixing the behavior. If you give us one sentence answers, your application will go in the reject pile. This section of the application lets us get to know how strong of a leader you are, and what training techniques you may use and lets us get to know you as a person too. Anything that you want us to know about you and how you treat your dogs, and what kind of life you can provide, should go in the application. If you don't tell us, we will never know. Feel free to send video and pictures if you like. If you want to do that please make a note on the application that you are sending them so we know to look for them.

Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.

please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
