Spanky has been waiting far too long for his happy ending. He first came to us in September 2021 as a 10-month-old pup with a permanent but non-life-threatening condition. Since then, he’s grown up in the shelter—yet he’s never lost his joyful spirit or his love for people.
Spanky loves walks, playtime, and greeting everyone with a big heart and wagging tail. While he’s not suited for a home with livestock, he’s wonderful with people and with patience and exposure, does well with female dogs.
After spending most of his young life in the shelter, Spanky deserves to finally trade his kennel for a cozy couch and the warmth of a family. All he asks for is love—and in return, he’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, joy, and gratitude.

Our goal is to adopt as many pets into loving forever homes as possible each month. We screen applications and arrange meet and greet times with each animal. Once the potential adopter has completed their application and met the pet, we do a 1 on 1 consultation about pet care and the life expectancy of their new family member.
